Since 1991

A Memorable Start

Judith Corney established Hospitality Development and Education in 1991, with the objective to develop skills in the hospitality industry.

1992 - 1994

HITB Trainee of the Year

HDE trainees won the HITB trainee of the year awards in 1992 and 1994 and were runner up in 1993. Previously, disadvantaged people were set as the target population and it still, prevails.

1995 - 2024

Restauranteering

HDE took a bit of a back seat, as we concentrated on running our own restaurants and opening new business opportunities. Our passion has always been to enable those who can't, and has never changed.

2024 - Current

Scale Expansion

HDE has, as such, trained more than a thousand delegates, which include employees, unemployed persons and business owners. Several Bed & Breakfast establishments, Restaurants, Fast Food outlets and Bakeries were opened under the supervision of HDE.
