She has successfully operated a business consultancy within the hospitality industry and is skilled in driving business growth and fostering strong customer loyalty. With a deep background in the hotel accommodation sector, she is passionate about innovation and enhancing the guest experience.
Ms. Mazibuko has played a pivotal role in the commissioning and opening of hotels across South Africa, specializing in the management of Front Office operations and Banqueting services. Throughout her career, she has held various management roles with some of the country’s leading hotel brands. With her vast experience in sales and marketing, she has guided numerous properties to award-winning success.
Her dedication to skills development, particularly within the hospitality and tourism sectors, is evident through her commitment to providing opportunities for unskilled individuals to enter the industry and grow into leaders. “I have an ability to uplift and support others with no doubt or hesitation,” says Ms. Mazibuko.
Senamile Mazibuko began her career at The Grace Collection as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator and was part of the opening team as a Guest Liaison Officer at The Grace in Rosebank, a distinctive hotel within a chain owned by the Brands Family.
She then joined the Singita Boulders Management Team, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the team to achieve the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. Although new to the South African Safari industry, her exceptional management skills and outstanding hospitality were highly recognized.
Following her time at Singita Boulders, Senamile moved to the Luxury Relais & Châteaux Cybele Forest Lodge, one of the leading luxury hotels in Mpumalanga Province.
With extensive experience in hotel operations, she joined the Protea Hotel Group by Marriott Sales Team in Gauteng Province, where she demonstrated remarkable leadership in Corporate Sales and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) as a Sales Executive within a dynamic and profitable team.
Senamile’s sought-after management expertise led her to Corporate South Africa as a Sector Manager, where she focused on the Healthcare, Education, and Housing sectors.
Her experience in managing and commissioning new hotels also led her into the manufacturing industry, where she focused on bespoke construction products for the healthcare, education, and residential markets. While developing innovative products, she also prioritized people development and job creation. As a natural entrepreneur and humanitarian, she crafted an exit strategy for young South Africans to enter the commercial market after training. Additionally, she created new markets for innovative products and was instrumental in advocating for laws that would accommodate previously excluded populations in the residential sector.
Well-versed in both hospitality and construction, Senamile is now successfully leading her own consultancy in the hospitality industry. She has commissioned, managed, and operated hotels for private owners in rural South Africa, contributing significantly to many establishments from conception and construction to operations.
